Introduction, Thanks Giving, & About this Blog
Not every hero wears a cape.
Not every hero comes into the limelight.
Not every hero has the privilege to display their wounds, pains, and sacrifices.
Not every hero’s story is narrated by others.
Here, I am referring to a unique kind of hero—a hero who stands tall and strong for his wife, his parents, and everyone around him. Yet, when it comes to his children, he transforms into something extraordinary—a superhero.
This superhero rarely receives the recognition he truly deserves for his silent yet monumental contribution to raising a child.
This story is dedicated to all those unsung superheroes—fathers—who are often unacknowledged within their families and overlooked even in the eyes of their children.
Mothers hold a special place in our hearts. Rightfully so, as they are celebrated for their boundless love, sacrifices, and tireless devotion to their children. A multitude of stories and tributes are written about mothers—their pain, their lives, and their unrelenting sacrifices. It’s beautiful, and it’s justified. Mothers deserve every bit of that adoration.
However, in this story, I want to shift the spotlight. I won’t delve much into mothers, not because they are any less important, but because this is about someone who is often overshadowed—the fathers.
This is about fathers. Fathers, and only fathers.
Fathers often live in the shadows. Their love is rarely spoken about in songs or celebrated in movies. They are not the ones whose sacrifices are written in emotional verses. Yet, they are the silent architects of our lives, building a foundation strong enough for us to stand tall.
This story isn’t just about my father. This is story is about Me when i became a father, It’s about every father who silently shapes the lives of their children. It’s about those men who work tirelessly, often thanklessly, to provide for their families. It’s about those fathers who skip meals so their children can eat, who wear the same pair of shoes for years so their kids can afford new ones, and who put their dreams on hold so their children can chase theirs.
A Dedication: To My Father and My Son
This blog is more than just words; it’s a heartfelt dedication. A tribute to two extraordinary individuals in my life—my father and my son. Both have shaped me in ways I could never fully articulate, and their influence on my life has been profound and transformative.
To My Father Late Shri Narender Kumar Garg: The Silent Teacher
The Lessons My Father Taught Without Words
My father didn’t teach me life lessons through stories or lectures. Instead, he led by example, silently showing me the most profound truths about life simply by living them. Some of these lessons I embraced wholeheartedly, like generosity, kindness, and the importance of helping others—qualities for which I am deeply grateful.
Yet, there were moments when his choices puzzled me, decisions I struggled to accept. Now, as I look back, I understand the weight of those decisions and the sacrifices behind them. They weren’t always easy to comprehend, but they were his way of navigating an often unforgiving world while ensuring we had everything we needed.
A Life of Silent Sacrifices
My father endured tremendous hardships, many of which I was too young to fully grasp. There were times when illness took its toll on his body, yet he persevered without complaint. I now recall the nights when financial strain forced him to sell our house to clear a loan. He bore the weight of work pressure, late nights at the office, and early mornings without adequate rest. Despite these challenges, he never faltered in his responsibilities toward us.
He carried his burdens quietly, never once asking for anything in return. Even in moments of immense pain or vulnerability, he shielded us from the weight of his struggles. He always made sure we had a good life, a life free of worry and want.
Strength in Vulnerability
As the years went by, I began to notice the toll life had taken on him. He grew weaker, his resilience dimmed by the unrelenting challenges he had faced. Yet, even in those moments, he found the strength to be strong for me.
He never let his vulnerability overshadow his love and commitment. Though he rarely spoke of his struggles, I could feel the weight he carried. I could see it in his eyes, in the tiredness that clung to him, and in the quiet resolve he held onto despite everything.
Gratitude for a Lifetime of Lessons
Today, when I think of my father, I see a man who gave everything he had without asking for anything in return. He taught me the value of perseverance, the importance of hope, and the meaning of selfless love. Even in his most vulnerable moments, he was my pillar of strength, showing me that courage doesn’t mean the absence of pain but the determination to keep going despite it.
The lessons he imparted, both silently and through his actions, continue to guide me. And for that, I am forever grateful. My father may not have spoken his lessons aloud, but his life was a story of unwavering love, resilience, and sacrifice—one I will carry with me always.
He taught me about discipline, honesty, resilience, and unconditional love—not through conversations but through his actions. He worked tirelessly for us, often sacrificing his own comforts, yet he never complained. He showed me how to face challenges with courage, how to give selflessly, and how to value family above all else.
As a child, I didn’t realize it, but I was always observing him. Every little thing he did became a silent lesson etched into my heart. His strength, his patience, and his unwavering dedication to our family are what shaped me into the person I am today.
They say children learn by watching their parents, and I couldn’t agree more. What my father did for us—quietly, without any expectation of recognition—set the foundation for my own values. Today, I carry forward those lessons in my life, not because he told me to, but because I witnessed them in him.
To My Son: The Little Teacher
If my father taught me how to live, my son is teaching me how to love.
Becoming a father was a moment that changed everything. When my son came into my life, he gave me a title that I wear with pride— “Papa.” He brought with him a sense of purpose and joy that I had never known before.
Every day, he teaches me something new about life. Through him, I’ve rediscovered the magic of childhood—laughing, playing, and finding happiness in the simplest of things. He reminds me of the innocence and purity of love, a love so unconditional and profound that it defies words.
He’s my little blessing, a gift from God, who has shown me what it means to be a good father. I’m learning patience, compassion, and the art of being present. He has given me countless reasons to smile, and his laughter has become the melody of my life.
The bond between a father and a son is unlike any other—a connection so deep that it feels unbreakable. It’s a bond that grows stronger with each passing day, filled with moments of play, shared laughter, and silent understanding.
A Full Circle
Life has a beautiful way of coming full circle. As I stand here today, I find myself in a unique place—looking back at my father and forward to my son. One taught me how to be a man, and the other is teaching me how to be a father.
To my father, I owe my foundation. To my son, I owe my evolution. Together, they have given me a life full of lessons, love, and gratitude.
This blog is for them—for the silent strength of my father and the joyful innocence of my son. They are my heroes, my teachers, and my greatest blessings.
Thank you, Dad, for showing me the way. Thank you, my son, for giving me the chance to walk it.
The Women Who Complete Our Story
While this blog began as a tribute to my father, my son, and my journey as a father, it wouldn’t be complete without acknowledging the two most remarkable women in my life—the person who gave me life and the person who gave life to our son.
To My Mother, Late Smt. Nirmal Garg: The Giver of Life and Strength
Maa, you are my foundation, my first teacher, and the reason I stand here today. The life I am living, the lessons I carry, and the values I cherish—all of it stems from you.
You nurtured me with love that knew no bounds. You sacrificed your dreams to make mine come true, and you guided me with wisdom that I often didn’t understand as a child but hold close to my heart as an adult.
Thank you for the life you gave me, for showing me what selfless love looks like, and for being my anchor through every storm. Your love is the unshakable pillar on which my entire existence rests.
To My Wife, Neha: The Creator of Our Joy
Neha, you are my partner, my confidant, and the love of my life. But above all, you are the incredible woman who gave me the most precious gift I could ever receive—our son, Ikshvaku.
Watching you transform into a mother has been nothing short of magical. Your strength, patience, and unconditional love for our family leave me in awe every day. You have made our house a home and filled it with warmth, laughter, and love.

While words may never fully express the gratitude I feel, know that every step I take, every lesson I pass on, and every joy I experience as a father is because of you both.
This journey—of life, fatherhood, and family—wouldn’t be complete without the two of you.
Thank you, Maa, for giving me life.
Thank you, Neha, for giving me the joy of being a father to our son.
Your love is a gift I cherish every single day.
